Glorious spring day, no need to go far, living in a national tourist resort.
Nice to have a bit of time off to do as we please.

Thursday morning had us taking a long walk along the beach and headlands near our home. Notice the dramatic rock formations.

Fun N' Games

Winter vacation has us funning and gaming.

Julian plays "Settlers of Catan" with his mom and dad, as well as neighbors. It's a great game of strategy, diplomacy and luck in which each player produces and uses resources to build settlements and cities.

Julian and his dad play Crokinole every day. Sometimes Julian wins, sometimes Dad wins and sometimes Julian wins again. They are practicing for the Chinese Crokinole Championship in the Spring.

It should come as no surprise that the kids love video games. Here is the Nintendo DS. Ask the kids what game it is.



Athena's favorite on-line cartoon, "Peep and the Big Wide World" which she watches everyday.
